Introducing Quick Share: One-Click Publishing for Everyday Learning
Hi SaraEveritt!
Great to hear that you've been exploring Quick Share!
The Quick Share UI alerts authors whenever updates are made to a course. After changing your images, can you confirm that you've "Published updates" before generating a new link?
Also, have you checked your Lesson Headers to ensure the unwanted image isn't coming from that section of the course?
You can access those settings by navigating to Theme > Lesson Headers.
If you're still having issues, it would be helpful to see the Quick Share link that's giving you trouble. Feel free to share that here in the discussion or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
I did publish updates. This is a microlearning, and I do not see an option for lesson headers as there are no lessons.

Hi SaraEveritt,
Thanks for following up and sharing the additional feedback.
I used Google Chrome to test the Quick Share link you've provided. However, I'm not seeing any Cover Page image during playback.
Is the unwanted image being retained across all supported browsers? Also, have you tried clearing your browser's cache to ensure your device has the latest course content?
Let me know how it goes!

The problem isn't with the playing. I don't include an image in the headers. The problem is when we send the link out to share it - the link adds a picture. It will include either the default image or the image I've added in the theme. And, I noticed recently it happens with quick share regardless if it is a micro learning or a full course. I also noticed if I create the course, add a content and save it, then later change the image it will only hold the original image. If on creation right after the first lesson is added and theme is available, if I change the image then it will keep the new image, any time after that I change the image it onlys shows the first image.
EX: We send out this linkThat image has nothing to do with the content so I want to change it out. If you look at the theme on that course, the image is
I even publish updates, clear cache all the normal troubleshooting. Again the course itself is fine because the images is not used there. But if I don't change the default and we want to send out a link to the course - the link itself presents an image that is not correct. I hope that all makes sense. I've had to re-create the course to get the image correct then copy over all the lessons. A lot of extra work. Then if I'm asked to update the image, I have to re-create the course again to have the correct image show up in the link.

Hi SaraEveritt! Thanks for sharing this, especially while using quick share. Early feedback like this helps a lot!
I can see how confusing it is to update the theme image and still see the old one in the link preview. You shouldn’t have to rebuild a course just to refresh that.
I’ve shared this with our product team so they understand the impact. Keep the feedback coming!
