Is it possible to set Articulate Review to hide other people's comments?

Hello everyone,

I'd like to know whether is possible to set Articulate Review so that one person can't see other people's comments.

While the project is ongoing I do the usual evaluation on Articulate Review and for this purpose it's ok that all SMEs can see what others said. After this phase, once all the elements are finalised, the course will be evaluated by a large pool of testers within the company (in addition to the SMEs that participated in the course development) before being uploaded on the company's LMS and made available for their personnel.

For this "beta version" I don't want people to see what others said on every slide. I searched for an answer to my problem in previous discussions but I didn't find anything related to this specific matter and it appears that it's not really possible.

The only alternative I see would be to upload the course on Articulate Review disabling comments and create an online survey (with google modules for example) but I'd really like to be able to use Review for this purpose, as people could actually see the course and post comments at the same time.

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • We would also be interested in this feature.  We would like comments from various reviewers on the same review file but for them not to see each others. Can you provide a date for when you think this might be viable? Thanks

  • I think this would be a great feature to add. Often I see that reviewers will image the feedback they already see on the screen and would be beneficial to hear their own perspective/opinions.

      Hello Training Academy!

Thanks for sharing that you'd like to see this feature in Review 360. I'll go ahead and add your voice to the request. It's not currently on our feature roadmap, but I'll be sure to update this discussion if our team decides to reroute!

This would be a very helpful and appreciated feature.  Has planning for this been moved up in the last 4 years?

  • Also would like to perform a pool review independently of SMEs. Has there been any headway on making reviews private or invisible to other reviewers?

      Hi JamesParker-ebe

Thanks for adding your use case here!

We know this is a common need, especially when running separate SME and broader reviewer passes, and this request has been shared with our product team based on ongoing community feedback like yours. While we don’t have updates to share on timing or roadmap placement, comments like this help reinforce the impact and importance of the feature.

We’ll be sure to update this discussion if there’s any movement here.

      Hello JamesParker-ebe

Just out of curiosity, I did a quick little test to confirm that everything is working as I thought it would.

In your case, would it be feasible to create one Review for the SME pool, and another Review if necessary for... the others? (Okay, it's not ideal if there are also others, and others, and others). The advantage is that you can gather all these comments (without mixing them up and sharing them in the Reviews) with the option to import Comments into the .story file. There is then a button to select the comments that appear on the side depending on whether they come from the SME Review only, the Review for others only or the Review number 3 only, etc. They are all there but not mixed up.

Sometimes, a single Review with hundreds of comments (I only had 100 comments once, but something was already wrong with the client!), multiplied by 2, 3, or 4 sources, can become completely unmanageable, in my opinion.
