Is there a way to change the default slide duration in Storyline 2?

In the last 5 years, either the issue has been resolved to a trivial case or no one needs to worry about the default slide duration. I am a new comer to Articulate (1+ month old). I would also like to have some control on the default slide duration. I assume it is set for 5 second as that is the default duration in Studio. We have that option in Studio. Why the elimination?
I would like to think that Storyline is an improvement over Studio. So we should have everything in Studio plus new features added in Storyline. May be programmers don't think like engineers. Do I miss DOS and the old WordPerfect whenever my computer decides to have a brain of its own. :-)
