Thank you for your response to my request for help!
What I was able to do:- slightly compress the videos so as not to lose quality,
- and when exporting the .story file to a .zip SCORM package, I deselected the adaptive media quality setting during playback in order to have fixed quality.
In this way, I was able to get below the 262 MB limit.

Here are some ideas:
- Contact your LMS to see if they can increase the size of SCORM folders they will accept
- Try presenting some of your videos as image sequences, or even animated GIFs. Perhaps some video simulation sequences could be presented as a series of images and descriptive texts instead.
