Issue with tracking on Multiple Result slides
Hi There, I have put together a build that has two assessments, a pre-check and a final assessment. The pre-check has two attempts and final assessment has 3 attempts. If the learner passes the pre-assessment they may opt to exit the course with it being marked as passed and if they fail they will have to go on to do the content and post assessment. I have tested it with failing the pre-assessment and then going on to do the post. When I fail the post assessment after 1st try and then exit the course it is being marked as successful and the LMS sends a pass certificate to the learner. Has anyone encountered this issue and is there perhaps a solution.

What's the passing score for the post-assessment?
- RoystonFrede963Community Member
Passing score for post is 80%. The client did a test and on first attempt of post she got 0%. Shen then exited to see if it would mark as failed but she then received a pass certificate as well the module being marked as completed on the LMS

Hi Royston,
Change the settings to passed and incomplete and see.
Are you able to replicate the same issue in SCORM CLOUD LMS?

I've never dealt with this scenario before, but wondering if you could apply a "complete course" trigger to the result slide's success layer instead?
It's not ideal, but should do the trick.

Hi, Royston.
Thank you for reaching out!
I created a sample project similar to what you described, but my tests didn't reproduce what you're experiencing. See below:
As Raj suggested, a good troubleshooting step is to test your project in SCORM Cloud. Check out this step-by-step article!
If your course works as expected in SCORM Cloud, then I would advise you to reach out to your LMS for more information on reporting/tracking from their end.
If you still see the same behavior in SCORM Cloud, or if you need help testing your project, the next step would be to open a support case here, so we can take a closer look at your settings.

Hi Everyone, thanks for all the feedback. I changed the reporting to Complete/Incomplete and it worked! Client is happy now. Thanks for your suggestion Raj. Would never have thought the issue would be sitting with the reporting. SABA is a weird one!

Hi Royston,
Glad that issue is fixed .
Yes Saba is Crazy LMS, I spent sleepless nights to debug many bugs and Storyline tool behaviour in SABA :-)
