Track results of multiple quizzes
Hi all,
I'm aware that we can track multiple criteria (e.g., slides viewed and quiz completion), but I can't figure out if there is a way to track more than one quiz. I have a course with two quizzes. I would like learners to pass EACH with a 70% before they can be considered complete. I would also like them to have to view all slides. It seems like it is set up so that completion is triggered after the first item is achieved rather than all items are achieved. Am I understanding that correctly? Are there any work arounds?
Thanks in advance!
Jackie
Hello,
Here are some of my ideas:
- As you may know, you can create results slides to calculate for either questions or other results slides. Therefore, you can create two quizzes, and have two results slides that calculate and use passing percentages for each quiz, respectively. You could set each results slide for 70% for passing. Then, you could have a 3rd results slide and set it to calculate for the other two results slides, instead of questions.
- If you organize your navigation, you can require the learner to view all slides. That can also be controlled with the player navigation options of Restricted or Locked.
- If you are talking about marking the module complete under your LMS settings in Publish, then I believe you are correct. You can set up multiple criteria and I believe that the first one that gets triggered will mark the course complete. If you are having trouble figuring out how to get the learner to do everything you want and not trigger the course completion prematurely, you may wish to simply use a trigger. You can add a trigger to an Exit or Complete button on the last slide. The trigger would be set to mark the course complete when the user clicks the button. Then, in the LMS Tracking settings in your Publish settings, set the only check mark for marking the course complete to the Trigger option.
