Storyline - Multiple Quizzes - One results screen
Hello!
So I'm currently making a quiz, with a language select, and when the language is selected it sends the user to the scene with a quiz in the selected language.
When the user takes the quiz, I only want it to capture the results from the chosen language, and use that as the pass mark. Is this possible? and if so, how?
As PhilMayor said, one Storyline project can have many Results slides.
When you publish for the LMS, include all of the Results slide in the Tracking Options.
Storyline will submit the results for the first quiz that the user completes. In your case, that would be the quiz for whichever language was chosen.
Note: You can only set 1 language for the Text Labels in a Storyline course. That means someone could see system messages in a language other than the one they chose for the course content.

It doesnt need to be one results slide, you can report on many results slides.

What if you have six different quizzes, three of which are common to all learners and then it branches from there for the learner to choose one of the three remaining quizzes? I need to report on four quizzes for each learner (the first three which are general to all, and then their respective department quiz). I need to report the overall score and the question level details.

TamiTrujillo1 : A Results slide can actually report on other Results slides.
In your case, you'd need a Results of Results slide after each of the department quizzes.
I don't know for sure whether Storyline submits the question-level data from each of the quizzes. I suggest you test that in the SCORM CLOUD or your own LMS to ensure you'll get the info you need.

Thanks so much Judy! Do you think it would work if I do one results slide for the first three scenes that have the general questions and then a separate results slide for each of the departments or is it better to have a separate results slide for each scene that is then combined into one as you've shown?

Carefully read the "solution" to the original question. When more than one Results slide is used for tracking, Storyline submits the results from the first Results slide that the user reaches.
Here's a clarification of what I'm suggesting for your situation:
- Have a Results slide at the end of each general quiz that calculates the results for the questions in the associated quiz. (That's the standard setting.)
- Have a Results slide at the end of each department's quiz that calculates the results for the questions in that quiz.
- Mark each of those 6 quizzes as a Final Assessment.
- After each department-Results slide, add another Results slide that calculates results for Results Slides for the 3 general quizzes and the just-finished department quiz.
- Thus, you will have 3 Results Slides that calculate the Results Slides of 4 quizzes (3 general + 1 departmental).
- For LMS Tracking, only track via those 3 Results-of-Results slides. Storyline will submit the Results from the first one the user finishes. That, of course, will be the one for the chosen department.
