Jumping to a specific Time/Topic location in a video. like youtube

Hi, I am building this Storyline tutorial and I need some help, in this sample overall slide there is a 45 mins video containing many topics.

so what I would like to do is, after the users watched the 45 mins for the first time, they would go on and test out the program, but whenever they have encounter an issue, say adding markers, and wants to come back to the video and take a look at that particular topic, they can just click the blue timing so it jumps to the location of the video. this feature is seen in YouTube. Is this feature available in Storyline? if so, how do i do it? if not, what other alternatives would you suggest?

I have this idea because i do not want to trim the videos into small parts and hence creating many files and also caused the file to be very big. which this way it also looks neat.

Please give me some advice. Thank you and looking forward to your help and suggestion.

that's sad to hear. any idea how the youtube works that way? or does it require programming?

triming the video does storyline has an in-build tool for it? or do i need to seek other application?

  • Storyline has a basic inbuilt video editor, also it has an internal library that as long as you duplicate the video it will not increase the file size.

Youtube has built this functionality into their player

  • Why doesn't ARTIC build this into the player? It's not like its new tech - been around for many years.

I link videos to MS Stream and Rise won't let me see the time marker.

you need heroes (workaround geniuses) when the product is so limited.
