Hello Barbara, 

I appreciate you chiming in and sharing what you are currently experiencing. I'm not following what you are experiencing. You mention pausing the timeline and then tabbing to a button or text box but not seeing hotspots or buttons? 

Do you know what version of Storyline you're using?

    Thanks, Leslie.  Support confirmed that the issue is with the hotspot, which cannot be hidden.  I currently set buttons to 'appear' at 0.2 seconds, so they cannot be selected, even if hidden by state or by object.
