Knowledge Checks that require Multiple correct and incorrect feedback
Hi, I am putting together knowledge checks for scenarios where we have multiple correct responses with individual feedback so we need the by choice option of feedback on the multiple response block. It currently only gives you the option of putting in one correct or incorrect piece of feedback . The Multiple choice block gives the by choice option, but only one answer can be right? How can I create a knowledge check where multiple right answers receive separate feedback? This is for a mandatory Ethics module where there are many nuanced scenarios that require more in-depth feedback. thank you

A multiple-choice question has only one correct answer. It's easy to provide feedback "by choice" for those questions, because the user can only select one response.
A multiple-response question allows the user to select any number (>0) of the responses. To be scored as correct, the user must select all of the correct responses without selecting any of the incorrect responses. Thus trying to provide feedback "by choice" would be astoundingly difficult, because it would have to account for all the potential response combinations.
What you describe doesn't fit either of those question types.
Why not provide other ways of presenting options & giving feedback instead?
For example, after describing the scenario, there could be a flip-card interaction. Or a labelled graphic. Or an accordion.
If you want to require the user to select/view at least one item without requiring them to select/view all, the put it into a Storyline block.

I think you are talking about having a different feedback response for each "answer".
- A - the correct answer - here's why
- B - Not quite correct, here's why
- C - Not quite correct, here's why
- D - Completely wrong, here's why
In that case, I've built the slides from the ground up, not using SL's pre-built question slides. That way I could add triggers that would show different layers with the appropriate feedback, depending on which the learner chose.
I've also built a quiz that used the default question format, and then the following slide had the why each question was good or bad. you can see an example of it here.

The multiple response block in Rise does not offer separate feedback by choice.
