Experiencing this same issue only recently. I have a slide that has a lot of animation/motion paths that lags horribly when published (review, LMS, online). Any other solutions discovered besides backing up to a march release of SL? (Especially since I have already created courses in the most recent update. I am assuming these wouldn't be compatible with the earlier version.)
