Language settings
Hi there,
we produce German and English language courses with Rise. Once we had set up an English course, we couldn't switch the other courses to German, although the language settings in the profile is German.
This issue impacts translation files.
Any help highly appreciated.
Best,
Claudia
Hi Claudia,
Thanks so much for reaching out. I'm happy to help!Just to clarify where you are at in the process I have a few questions!
- Have you successfully exported the English course content as an XLIFF File?
- From there, are you able to successfully import the translated XLIFF File into the English course, or are you experiencing an error message?
I'm curious if double-checking that your text labels have been translated successfully would do the trick!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

HI Luciana,
in our Articulate account, we can't change the text labels. Even if we switch from English to "German", than it still displays the English labels.
We have tried log out/login / change profile settings/ forth and back. and else, but still the same. Only English labels.
With translations from German the following happens: the xliff-File shows English as the source language (see Screenshot), then the translation software has trouble translating the text.

Hi Claudia,
In Edit mode, Rise will always display English Labels.
You need to Preview or Publish the course to see the German labels.
