Learner Chooses Storyline Path Help
Hi,
I created a few storyline 360's and am incorporating a treasure map. I plan to import them into 1 storyline and I want the learner to be able to start wherever they want on the map but also once they've covered certain slides/interactions they receive a check mark completing it on the map. I plan to have the scorm "always prompt resume" just in case they get pulled away from their training and it saves their progress. Would I need to create certain triggers or variables? What's the best way to go about this?

Your map is a custom menu. This post has info about how to track progress when using a custom menu. It also includes a demo file.

I want to commend you on your learner-centric design, in a world where so many people are creating “read, click next” page turners.
There is a sample that does what you want at this post:
It uses words as clickable spots on the slide, but you can substitute pictures or shapes for the words. The Free Navigation is what you want. I’m sure the principles are very similar to what Judy suggests.
I envision that you will cover the slide with some sort of graphic, then place invisible shapes (filled with color, no outline, 95 - 99% transparent) above the map and use them as the clickable spots.
If you get stuck, ask for help.
