Length of time to download in Rise

Hello,  I am working on downloading podcast videos (MP4) into micolearning shells. Only one video per shell and the time to upload seems to be extremely long. The videos range in length from 30-60...

Hello Jose, 

I'm restarting this conversation because I'm having the same problem. The video download time is extremely long. Right now I'm trying to download a 16,201 KB mp4 video, it's been almost 10 minutes and it still hasn't loaded. However, I have a good connection (and I had the same problem, connected to different types of networks) ... It's also a shame not to have visibility on the download %. Thanks in advance for your help!

As my colleague Jose mentioned, since your video is under 5 GB, this loading lag could be due to internet speeds. 

  • What browser are you using? Do you experience the same lag in another browser? 
  • Is this happening with any other MP4 files you are working with or just this one?

 

We'd be happy to look at your video file and see if we are experiencing the same behavior. You can share the MP4 file in this thread or privately in a support case.
