Localization issues
Has anyone had a lot of success with Localization? We've run into some massive roadblocks with it (it doesn't translate custom blocks, for ex) and most recently, in the English version, there was a character named "Diego"
The localization, when we ran it, changed the name to "John" in the spanish version.

Hello CarrieDiRisio-3,
I appreciate you sharing your voice with us regarding Articulate Localization when using Rise 360. I've shared your insight about Custom Block translation with our product team so they know what matters to you. We'll share future updates in this thread so all are in the loop!
I'm curious to learn more about the name change you are experiencing. I wasn't able to experience this when testing on my end.
- Do you experience this name swap in one location/block of your course, or does it span the entire course?
- What Spanish language option are you choosing? We have Latin America, Mexico, and Spain available.
In the meantime, one tip that can help is exporting the course text, making quick adjustments for custom blocks or names, and then re-importing it into Rise. It’s a handy way to keep control of special terms while still speeding up your workflow.
If you're still having trouble, you can share a copy of your course in this thread or privately in a support case so we can learn more.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
