Localization: tokens / translation?
I recently did a trial phase of the localization feature but didn't pay attention to how many tokens are used for each translation. Could someone share this info with me?
Let's say I have an English course and want to translate it into German, French and Spanish - how many tokens would each translation cost me?
And if, at a later point, I want to add an additional Japanese version? Would it only subtract tokens for this one additional language?
Thank you :)

Hi TereSia - my team uses the localization feature. Each translated language uses one token. So in your example, you'd use three as you'd be translating the source course (English) into three other languages (German, French, and Spanish).
If you later translated the same course into Japanese, that would subtract one token.
I hope this helps!

Hi Shannon, what's the average cost per token/credit?

Hi Sam,
It depends on the package you buy. We were in early on the product--still in beta when we started using it--so I don't know if/how the pricing may have changed. When we signed up, there were tiers. The higher the quantity of translations/tokens you purchase, the lower the cost per translation/token. You'd get x number of transations for Y dollars at breaks, similar to price breaks when buying anything in bulk. If you don't use all the translations in the contract period, you lose them.
