Malware detected - Rise module export for web
I exported a Rise360 course for web. Our IT contacted me to alert detected and removed a dangerous file from the ZIP folder.

Hello there! I understand your IT found a possibly dangerous file from the zipped output of your Rise 360 course.
Do you know what file it is? Would you be able to share the complete findings of your IT or a screenshot of what they saw? Are you able to replicate the issue on other Rise 360 exports?

Hi there, folks! The most recent update of Microsoft Teams tools are flagging Rise 360 output as potentially having malware, and this is typically a false positive alert.
You may choose to test your zipped output using one of these third party tools:
If any other anti-virus vendors do not flag it, it’s a good indication that it’s a false positive alert specific to SharePoint and MS Teams settings. Please contact SharePoint and MS Teams support or your admin to let them know.
If the other anti-virus vendors do flag it, take a screenshot and share your zipped output along with the screenshot with us, privately, here. We'll make sure you can get your training out to learners!
I am seeing this issue as well, but the file was downloaded and saved to my C drive, not Teams. I have submitted a ticket with Articulate Support.

Thanks for reporting this. I want to note that output files published using our authoring tools are virus-free. Our Articulate 360 installers and applications are Authenticode [https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/install/authenticode] signed, and we also use checksums to verify integrity.
One way to test if a published output file from our authoring tools is malicious is to run it through VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com/), or Metadefender (https://metadefender.com/) to see if either of those tools flags it.
