May 12 2026 update - increased lag times

Is anyone else experiencing extreme lag times in Storyline since the latest update? It's very slow to open, the space bar previews of slides take forever if it works at all, and it's respondin...

Currently, I'm not seeing any lag with Storyline 360, so I have a few questions to help us narrow this down.
- Is this happening with multiple files or just one specific file?
- If it's limited to one file, it'd be helpful if you could share the .Story file so we can test it on our end.
- If you're seeing the issue across multiple files, does rolling back to a previous version of Storyline 360 improve performance?
If you'd prefer to share this information privately, we can continue troubleshooting in a support case. We'll also delete any files once we're done testing.
I lasted about a week while working on multiple different projects. It's working fine now. I'm assuming it was just bugs in the system. Or the May 12 update solved the issues.
