Microleaning navigation menu
Yes, I’ve noticed that too both tablet and mobile. The stepped navigation menu is no where to be seen. This I guess is to maintain a nice clean interface and learners can navigate using the Next and Previous buttons. It’s for consistency and accessibility.
Check out these alternatives you can try:
Make a Table of Contents: at the beginning of your microlearning module, include a block that outlines the steps or sections.
Use Button Stack or Accordion blocks to list and link to each section.
This way learners have an overview and direct access to specific content areas.
Use Standard Course Format: If navigation flexibility isimportant, consider creating your content using the standard Rise 360 course format instead of the microlearning format.
The standard format includes a sidebar menu that's accessible on all device types, providing consistent navigation options.help.rise.com
Feedback to Articulate: Share your feedback with the Articulate team regarding the importance of consistent navigation across devices.
User feedback can influence future updates and feature enhancements.
Try one of these an let me know if you need any help.
Hi garymoulton-a40!
Thank you for the feedback!
As I shared with ÉquiLibre, this is the expected behavior when viewing Rise Microlearnings on smaller screens. We are tracking a feature request, to give Rise authors the option to include Stepped Navigation on mobile devices. I've included your voice in the request!
We'll be sure to update you as soon as we have news to share!
