Move Object Based on Answer in Quiz (advance or go back)
I'm building a 10 Question Quiz where a character or object advances across the screen when the learner selects the correct answer; or goes backwards a step when the learner chooses an incorrect answer.
I know this has been done but am having trouble getting it to work. I built something similar in Captivate almost 10 years ago, and I know I've seen examples in Storyline using sliders along with Add/Subtract Value. Will someone point me to a file that has this?

Search the community. Anything about progress meters, badges, etc. could provide guidance on the kind of triggers needed to build something like what is mentioned in the post.
Then I suggest you try building a basic version of what you want. If you get stuck, start a new discussion to ask for help.
FYI, here are what I consider best practices for posting a question:
Be sure to clearly describe the following: What you want to happen, what is not happening that should happen, what is happening that should not happen, and what you have already tried.
Upload the .story file for troubleshooting.
- Only include the slides that are related to the problem.
- Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
- If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
