Multiple Hyperlink Styles?
Hello all, does anyone has a tip to force a hyperlink NOT to use the hover state from the hyperlink text style.
It is the bane of my life at the moment.
It would appear that there is no sure way to do this, as sometimes the hover state is the same as the coloured text while other times it will match the hyperlink style, meaning the link will disappear when I hover over it.
I really need two hyperlink styles. One for dark backgrounds and another for light backgrounds. Using hotspots over underlined text is a way around it, but feels like a poor workaround and not as accessible as it could be.
Thank you in advance.
Hi Barry,
Just throwing this out there, but have you considered using hotspots placed over the text that you want to hyperlink instead? This will allow you to redirect your learners to a specific URL without having to use the hover states included in a hyperlinked text.

Hi Joe, this is what we have had to do. It's not ideal but it has worked.
I think the problems it has caused me were so significant that I'll have to tell the graphic designer to rein it in instead.
Thanks for the suggestion.
