Music track on scene, not slide?
Greetings. Is there a way to place an audio track on a whole scene, that plays constantly through all slides in the scene instead of placing it on each slide in the scene...causing it to annoyingly restart on each slide? Much thanks in advance!!
Hi everyone!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 74, we've included important fixes and new features.
One of the new features we've included is:
- Create immersive experiences with continuous background audio that sets the tone and keeps learners engaged.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you have questions!

4 years after the original question it still is not possible

It seems counterintuitive not to have that by design...

There is no way to do that in Storyline at the moment. You could try using JavaScript to insert an audio track in the HTML page after you publish the course.

Hi James, seems a lot of people want to do this so here is hoping it turns up in a future release. You can do this using Studio.
One other thing I could suggest which may seem idiotic at first blush is that you could build your entire scene on 1 slide using a lot of layers. This way you could have an audio track running in the background.
Hi James and welcome to Heroes!
As Nancy mentioned, it's been a popular feature request and you're welcome to share your thoughts here.
- JamesSniderCommunity MemberThat's actually what I ended up doing.
