New Grouped Objects Enhancement question
I noticed in today's patch's notes, it says:
- Enhanced: Navigate grouped objects in the timeline faster with aligned toggle columns and improved caret placement.
I have no idea what this means. I checked the timeline, and don't see any new features, even with a group selected.
Can someone explain what this means and how it helps me?
I believe this is purely a UI improvement. In previous versions, the caret (expand/collapse arrow) was positioned too far to the left, which made the timeline feel slightly misaligned. In the updated version, it’s now aligned and positioned neatly next to the grouped object, making navigation clearer and more intuitive. I hope this explanation helps. Please mark this answer as a solution if it answers your question.

Thanks Nedim! The pictures helped tell the story!
JoeWaddington1 You might need to update before you'll see the enhancement. The grouped objects are now indented making them easier to identify.

Thanks DavidAnderson! So it's a UX quality of life update, and not some new fancy feature. I'll let my people know!
That's really odd. Joe's post showed 0 answers so I quickly replied. Only after posting did I see Nedim's post from 3 hours ago.
Don't get me wrong, Nedim. I still troll your forum answers and bookmark them so I have the answers the next time someone asks similar questions. I'm just not foolish enough to reuse your replies in the same threads :-)
