New Player Text Label Languages
Hello,
I was reading the last announcement that we can now choose the player text label and select the language.
My question is the following: if we change the language, is it going to apply to all the project, or can it be chosen scene by scene? I am asking because I am working on multi-language projects that combine more than one language and it would be extremely beneficial for the user to have the navigation in his/her own language.

Hi Anna - Yes; the text label change will apply to the entire project. This would include player prompts (such as prompt to resume, not just the player labels themselves). This article might be helpful.
To create a single SCORM file with multiple languages, it would probably be best to create separate SCORM files for each language and then wrap those in an HTML SCORM wrapper. For example, an HTML file that has a dropdown menu with each language in the dropdown - learner selects the desired language, and that package launches.
Some LMS also allow for multi-language loading, so you may want to see if that's possible with yours as it might save some headaches. - JasonDunkerCommunity Member
I too would be interested in an actual solution to Multi-Language player labels for Multi-Language courses. Articulate customers have been asking for 10+yrs. I attempted to use the java script suggestion from 10yrs ago (https://community.articulate.com/discussions/discuss/building-multiple-language-versions-in-one-course/818746/replies/818763), but the courses fail to launch in SCORMCloud & LMS when you edit the href line to html5 within the manifest.

Hello JasonDunker
Thank you for sharing your request to support multiple languages per scene in the Storyline player. I've passed your feedback along to our product team. We'll keep you updated if there are any changes or updates that could help.
In the meantime, here's how we manage feature requests that we receive.
