Next Big Idea Club
Hello!
I'm interested in using the Next Big idea Club courses for our leadership development efforts and I have a couple questions.
- Is there a way to export a list of titles, authors and basic descriptions of the books? I'd like to use this as a starting point for discussion with my leader.
- How often are titles added to the Next Big Idea Club catalog?
- Has anyone out there used these books/courses to drive development? What was your experience like? Were the texts well-received?
Looking forward to hearing back ~ Thanks!

A reply for your third bullet:
A colleague developed an instructor-led (Rise) course in Risk-Based Decision Making using the Steven Johnson segments that capture the salient points of his book Farsighted. It's a great book that reviews the process of making decisions with incomplete information (aren't all decisions made that way?!).
The course was extremely well-received by leaders in various businesses across the organization, and there was ZERO pushback about the video segments as part of the discussion drivers. We offered a handful of books to every class and there were none left at the end of each session, and some participants went out to buy an audiobook version on their own.
So we concluded that the efforts were well-received, and the fact that these same leaders are now requesting a follow-up course (for themselves and their direct reports) indicates that we had a winner with this one.
