NEXT button grayed out on Assessment Results
The NEXT button on the Assessment Results screen is grayed out. I have deleted and re-added the triggers. Removed the Retry button.
I even cut and paste just the assessment questions and results slide into a new storyline project, and the NEXT button is not grayed out.
I compared the two slides - triggers, States, Slide Properties for the Assessment Results slide. They are all identical.
I even cut and pasted the questions and results that were working back into my original piece. Grayed out again.
I am STUMPED.
Files attached. I would love troubleshooting help if anyone can help!! This is the last step to publishing. :(

One difference I saw between the files is the the course has Restricted navigation, and the troubleshooting file has Free navigation. However, even with Restricted navigation, the Next button should be enabled when the timeline ends.
- If I delete the trigger on the Failure layers that disables the Next button, the Next button does enable when the timeline ends. That trigger isn't really necessary, since the questions give the user unlimited tries to answer correctly.
- Alternately, keeping that trigger and adding a trigger to the Success layer that enables the Next button also works.
Bottom line: It looks like a bug. I suggest you submit this case to the staff: Contact Support for Help with Any Articulate E-Learning Course Development Software

Superhero Judy, thank you so much for the workaround! I added the trigger on the Success layer and that did the trick. I set the parameters to unlimited tries in an effort to fix whatever was graying out the Next button so now maybe I can put the Retry button back in there. But maybe not since I don't want to jinx it. :) Thanks again for the help and quick reply!

I think it'll be safe to keep the Disable-Next trigger on the Failure layer and the Enable-Next trigger on the Success layer. I've done that lots of time in Restricted courses and never had a problem.
I'm guessing that the Disable-Next trigger on the Failure layer is overriding the built-in function that would enable Next when the timeline ends. Which I'd call a bug, since it shouldn't prevent the built-in function when the Failure layer doesn't show.
