No idea how to set transitions for separate layers
I have no idea why I can't set transitions for different objects/layers within one scene. When I navigate to the transitions tab, it immediately tells me that the transitions are for the entire scen...
Were you in the story view? Try it with a slide open in slide view, and the layer open.
