NOTES first line indent and hanging indent
I'm very familiar with the first line indent and hanging indent settings for text boxes on the stage, but what about in the NOTES? Every other paragraph setting works for the notes (paragraph indent, line spacing, etc.) but the "Special" settings (indented first line, hanging indent) do not work, regardless of what settings I've tried.
I've tried several things, including:
- Hard breaks for a new paragraph and indenting that paragraph, but depending on the learner's screen size and device, that is a poor substitute at best, and may not align properly
- Formatting in a text box on the stage, then copying it to the notes (didn't work)
- Formatting in a PPT file notes, then copying it to Storyline notes (didn't work)
- Resetting the text style, then trying to make the formatting work (didn't work)
Again, I'm talking about the NOTES, not the onscreen stage.
How do I get a hanging indent in the NOTES?

Sorry to hear you've been struggling with text formatting in Storyline's Notes panel!
Currently, First Line Indent/Hanging Indent is not supported for text within the Notes panel. Thanks for letting us know this functionality is important to you. I've shared this as a feature request with our product team.
We'll be sure to update you if this enhancement makes it to our product roadmap.

Thank you.
One note. It is very frustrating for users to see options that appear active that don't work. Everything else on the paragraph screen works for the notes - indents, line spacing, etc. - and the first line indent and hanging indent APPEAR active. The settings allow you to choose first line or hanging, change the size of each, and so on. But then...they just don't work. As a user, having them grayed out so that you can tell they don't work would be very useful, and prevent HOURS (yes, I spent hours trying different options) to try and figure out what I was doing wrong...only to be told, "Oh, those don't work in notes, even though the buttons are active."
IN-CRED-IB-LY frustrating...
