Number of words in my project
Hi,
is there a way Articulate storyline tells me how many words i've written in my project? Like WORetc. does?
Thanks a lot

Hio Wolfhard,
have you tried exporting your project for translation to word ?
It will not give you an exact word count, yet it will give you an estimate....
Cheers

Hi Geert,
ofcourse i've done this, but I'm looking for the words count of my words in the articulate Project...
Thanks
Wolle
Hi Wolfhard,
There is not a word count feature within Storyline, but it does sound like a good feature request.

even I was looking for this feature

You are welcome to share your thoughts with our product development team here as well.

Throwing my name in here as well. this helps with client estimates
Hi Stephanie,
This discussion and feature request are quite a bit older. Have you looked at using current features such as the Export for translation? That would allow you to pull all the text from Storyline and run a Word count on that?
If you'd like to share a bit more information on how having this feature in Storyline would help your course creation, would you send directly to our Product team right here?😁

Export for translation seems like it might be useful for a word count if we just cut out the middle column of the resulting table. ???
Hey Darren,
Yup, that seems to be the idea here in the thread and it sounds like a reasonable idea. I know that Geert mentioned above, and I just want to reiterate, that it would be an estimate. There are some items in the columns, such as answer choices, that you may not want to be counted in the total.

Would like to request this as a feature too!
