Numbering the order of scenes & publishing to Word

Two fold question about scene numbering: Renumber scenes? Is there a way to renumber scenes logically? After several iterations I have a file that sequences from scene 1 to scene 7 to scene 3 ....

Hi Jerrie,

I thought I'd start by sharing the information here on how Storyline determines scene numbering. In regards to renaming or ordering them, you could do so within the player menu either manually or using the "reset from story" button. 

There is not a way to change the order in which they slides appear within the publish to word, although renumbering them would accomplish this as well.

    I'm always pleased to get your responses. :)
    Numbering the menu items did not change the published Word document. I'll work around it - it's not a show stopper, just a nuisance.
