Open Link in Same Tab
I've seen this discussed before, but I have not found a clear answer. I need a link to open in the same tab as the rise course. Essentially, this will exit the course and go to a page of my choosing. The Exit Course option does not work within the LMS I'm using (Moodle). However, if I can get a link to open in the same tab, this will give me the control I need. It appears all links default to opening in new browser tabs. Is there a way around this behavior?

Hi there!
Hyperlinks in your Rise 360 course will always open in a new browser tab. I'll let our team know you'd like a feature that would allow you to customize this behavior!

I also need this functionality. I think the best option, is to give a choice on how the link will open.
Thanks for letting us know your need! I'll be sure my team gets this feature request.

I am looking for the same functionality. I need to keep my users within the LMS. Can this be a setting that you can change when you add a link? Thanks.
Hey, Edward Developer2! Changing the hyperlink behavior is not a feature in Rise 360 currently, but thanks for sharing your need for it!

Missed this thread. Really really need. I did pass on an email as well. With current setup of our learning system we must remain in the same tab for links.

I also need this feature, if Articulate is taking user requests.
It looks like someone might have found a bit of a workaround by editing the Javascript, though it didn't work for me: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/open-external-link-is-same-tab-window#reply-622292
Thanks, James. We're tracking requests for handling linked content differently. I'll let you know here if we make any changes.

We need this feature as well.

This is an important feature for us as well; we are building a course for support staff working with survivors of intimate partner violence, and it is important that we are able to include a quick exit link on every page that will take the user to a non-IPV related site.
