Open pfds in Rise
Hi community,
I often provide pdfs in Rise. Is the setting possible that the document opens directly in a new window? Currently the download opens in the browser and the session window disappears ...

I forgot my question and didn't notice that you had answered. Unfortunately, I still have the problem. I uploaded the PDFs directly to Rise. The advices from others are great, but they don't solve my problem. My students keep getting lost because of this.

The browser and how it is configured is what controls how files are opened. No setting in Rise 360 can alter this behavior because it is ultimately up to the browser to determine if a link will be opened in a new tab or window. Please refer to this official Google forum for details on how this behavior is controlled in Chrome. However, you may need to find other browser-specific instructions if you are using a different browser.
