Hi Lauren! Thanks for the response. I've attached a screenshot of my current triggers on that first slide, but I'm also attaching my project file. 

I really appreciate another set of eyes because it's still not behaving. You can tab to it, but when you hit spacebar, it will only play the audio. It won't advance.

Also-- It's interesting that you mentioned the Audio because that's also doing something weird... In preview, you hear the audio file of the page-turning before you even click on the button.

    Hi Emily!

    Thank you for sharing your file! It looks like we just need to move the triggers to the top of the order and specifically call out the next slide. I've recorded a quick demo on how to make these changes in your course. Here's the link.
