Play setting seek bar-read only not working

Is anyone else having issues with navigation next not be restricted with the player setting set to: seek bar - read only. I also have the slide setting set to default to player setting. Not sure what I am missing.

Previously with setting player seek bar to read only, the inbuilt setting would restrict the learner from progressing next until the timeline finished (without requiring additional triggers). Now, the learner can keep hitting next to progress.

Please help! I don't want to have to manually add next button triggers.

    Hi lindasfoster​,

    I think there may be a couple of different settings at play here. Setting the seek bar to Read Only prevents learners from dragging the seek bar, but it doesn't control whether the Next button is available.

    If you'd like to restrict learners from advancing, can you confirm whether you've enabled the following player setting?

    • Go to Home > Player
    • Select Menu
    • Click the gear icon at the bottom of the window
    • Set Navigation Restrictions to Restricted
    • Make sure Restrict Next/Previous buttons is checked

     

    With those settings enabled, learners shouldn't be able to continue to the next slide until they've completed the current slide.
