Playhead snapping in timeline
Hello all!
I can't seem to find anything on the subject of being able to drag the playhead in the timeline and having it snap to objects or to the visible timing markers. Does anyone know if this is possible in Storyline currently?
If not, I feel that being able to toggle between free playhead movement (which is the default now) and timeline snapping would be a very handy feature, as I often find myself needing to line up animations to a specific point in the timeline. Occasionally I also find that if an object's starting point is not on a visible timing marker (i.e. 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 seconds, etc.) then other objects snap to that object rather than the nearby marker. Being able to toggle this on or off would provide a better way to synch everything up.
Many thanks!
Henrik

Any solution to this? Asking for the same thing.
Hi JohnSon-6201412! Right now, Storyline 360 doesn’t support snapping the playhead to cue points, objects, or timing markers. We know that this can make syncing audio and animation more challenging.
It sounds like you'd also like to have a way to toggle snapping on and off, which would give you more control. I've shared your request with our product team.
We appreciate you taking the time to help us improve your workflow.
