Possible solution to error: "The project file could not be saved. Cannot access a disposed object. Object name: 'StoryPackage'"
Hi all,
I got the error above after trying to save my project in SL3. Nothing worked so after many attempts, a LOT of sweating and several F-bombs, I did the following:
Do NOT close SL, instead:...
My file closed on me so I could not do this. I was saving a local file to the shared drive we have with work as a backup if something happened to my laptop, It has been corrupt since then and I can't even open the copy on the local drive now. I don't understand why this can happen. Working 100% local is not safe either if something happens to the computer or you need to share with coworkers. At least on the shared drive I could find a previous version from two days ago (MANY hours of lost work still). That would not be an option if I had it on my local computer only (going back to a previous version).
