PPT Taking FOREVER to upload to Storyline

Hello, I am trying to upload a powerpoint to Storyline 360. Is it just me, or does this take forever and a day to do?   Is there anyway to trouble shoot?

The time it takes to import a Powerpoint file into Storyline will depend on how large the file size is and the number of slides, images, animations, and other media it contains. Is it slow only for a specific file, or are you experiencing this behavior every time you try to import a Powerpoint file?

Let's try to narrow down the issue:

  • Are you working from a local hard drive? Working on a network drive can cause erratic behavior. 
  • Which version of Powerpoint are you using?
  • Have you attempted a repair of Storyline 360? Here are the instructions.
