Preview of the slide is not working
Hello there. I recently updated to the Articulate SL with AI (LOVE the voices, by the way!) but ever since the upgrade I cannot preview my slides. I click on the arrow in the bottom left and get the error "something went wrong and SL may close." I even tried to watch it in the top right (view in desktop) and I get the same error. Does anyone know how to fix this? I really need this to work. Thanks!

Hello 4koelemans,
I'm glad to know you're loving AI Voices! Sorry to hear you're experiencing this behavior when previewing your slides! I wasn't able to replicate this behavior on my end, so I'm happy to learn more!
- Have you inserted any media (videos/images) or any specific elements into your course?
- If you import your current slides into a brand new .story file, do you still experience this behavior when previewing slides?
- Are you experiencing this behavior with any other projects you're currently working on?
If you are running the latest version of Storyline 360 (Update 110) and this is occurring across multiple project files, I recommend a repair of Storyline 360. A repair can fix some unexpected or erratic behavior.
If, after repairing, you are still experiencing this, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your .story file in this thread or privately in a support case so our team can investigate further!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

If your player is not set up for captions, you may have this problem if the AI TTS audio you are adding has the captions box checked when you generate it.
I was having this problem too:
<Message>Object reference not set to an instance of an object.</Message>
Solution: I opened the media library and deleted the captions from existing audio and then made sure that any new AI TTS files I created had the captions checkbox unchecked before I generated the audio.
