Just discovering this issue too. Can't understand why articulate isn't listening?
I can understand the 'jump to last viewed' functionality, it's what you'd expect from a web browser, but it is not what a user would expect from eLearning, which is more like an interactive book than a website.
As others have suggested, it would be very beneficial to add an alternative built-in trigger, or a workaround that doesn't involve manually changing every slide.
