Hi there, I really need this to work as well as we deliver courses in French. Somehow, miraculously, I got Alt+1060 to work once, but subsequent times just produce a dollar sign. Alt+0173 gives me a dash. Any other work arounds you can suggest?

Hiya, i just figured out a work-around. use another letter or character in between your words, like here i've used an apostrophe: 5'km
then change the colour of the apostrophe to white to make it invisible. It should hold your words together like a non-breaking space :-)
