Problem with AI Audio - Henry voice

Hi! The AI voice Henry (Clear British male narrator) has worked well for us in many projects. However, recently the voice has started to switch to an American pronunciation, and a sound glitch is often added at the end, which we then have to remove manually.

Is there a way to ensure the voice consistently uses British pronunciation and avoids the end-of-audio glitch?

At the moment, I’ve been adding the word “British” at the start of each line to force the correct pronunciation, but this has to be manually removed from both the audio and captions afterwards, which is quite tedious.

  • Hello KateTonkin

I understand you're using AI TTS Audio with Henry's voice, and it doesn't sound as expected. I can confirm that we have this behavior logged with our team. Happy to learn more about your specific setup!

    • Are you authoring your course in Rise 360 or Storyline 360?
    • Do you experience this change with any other voices or just Henry's voice?

As a troubleshooting step, you can select an earlier version each time you generate audio.

    Here’s how:

    1. Open the AI text-to-speech window.
    2. Advanced settings.
    3. Next to Model, select Multilingual v2.
    4. Select Generate to preview the voice again.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, and if you have any questions!
