Problem with color palette
Good morning I have problems since the last update with the color palette. if I select an object and I open the color palette from the format menu, I can select a color, the object immediately changes color but as soon as my cursor leaves the palette, we return to the previous color. Am I the only one having this problem? THANKS

So for those of us who had already lined up our organization brand custom colors as those small squares at the bottom previously -- we're just out of luck? This is a huge time waster. I guess until Articulate fixes this issue I have to enter a hex code every time. I mean, it's completely random to have to click inside the upper color window to "find" the custom color you had already taken time to line up in your saved colors. What's up Articulate? How come we can't get basic feature requests for over 10 years and now we have to deal with a broken one we didn't even ask for?

Good morning two clarifications 1) if you choose the color directly in the upper zone of the palette, there is no problem!! it's only when you click on the small squares 2) I'm not the only one having this problem at my job.

I just checked . many of us have the same problem (we have at least 50 licenses)

thank you, i feel less alone This bug is really annoying and I'm surprised there's no feedback from Articulate to say it's taken care of.

Hi Francios,
Wow! The color of an object reverting to its previous color after changing it is definitely not expected in Storyline 360! I’m happy to get this sorted out with you! I have a few follow-up questions regarding the situation so I can understand what you are experiencing a little better.
- Which version of Storyline are you using? I am using Storyline version 3.73.29904.0.
- Is this happening in one file or is this happening regularly?
- Are you working from a shared drive? If so, I would recommend saving your files on your local drive before creating, editing, and publishing them. This will help minimize any unexpected behavior.
- I’ve attached a Story file that I created Storyline 360. I was able to change the color of the objects and have the changes stay. Do you mind opening it on your end to see if you notice the same behavior?
Thanks for reaching out and I look forward to your response!

hello Jean sorry for my late answer I just tried your file and very quickly, the problem appears also . suddenly it works and suddenly it doesn't work anymore. in fact, if I select an object, I open the color palette, I select a color, then the color is applied immediately to the object BUT, as soon as my cursor leaves the contour of the palette, the object resumes its initial color (see photo)
as you can see in the photo of my screen; the object is blue whereas I have just selected it in light orange. it turned blue again as soon as my cursor left the palette!! help this is a real problem

Same here. Any solutions yet? The old palette didn't need to be changed. Worked just fine. Please tell the design team.

The problem may lie in the fact that there's no "OK" or anything to click on to confirm a color change. Just "close." Right?

Hi,
I do experience the same problem, also when applying gradients or applying transparency.
What I experienced in this regard is that if you change the color, it will jump back to the previous color. But if you add a little transparency, the new color is applied.
However, the bug is really irritating since one takes some time to get colors applied correctly. Please fix this asap.
Thank you!
