Publishing Storyline with the progress bar and closed captions
Hello,
We are using Rise for our overall course package. Within this, we have various storyline blocks.
Our most commented feedback from our clients is that we don't have a timeline bar to allow people to redo a few seconds. As most of our videos in Storyline are split over multiple slides we can't do this.
We actually have 2 problems, and I have added potential solutions
1. Publishing to video. We can use this when we have an info only storyline scene (e.g. no interaction) BUT the video publishing options does not generate the Closed Captions. Can you update storyline to add the ability to chose if we wish to generate the closed captions as one large file when we publish to video?
2. Publishing to review/CD etc. We can use this when we have interactive storyline scenes. BUT we can't enable the timeline as the video is split over multiple slides. Can you update storyline to give us the option to publish with slide timelines, or as a scene timeline?
Regards,
Fiona
Hi, Fiona!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 73, we’ve included important fixes and new features.
One of the new features we've included is:
Boost video accessibility by including closed captions when publishing projects as MP4 video files.
To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help!
