Question Bank Notes Disappear in Preview
I came across the post below, in which a user mentions that Notes are missing from his question slides in a question bank. He resolved the issue by creating regular question slides outside of a question bank:
I just encountered the same issue. However, I need to use a question bank, rather than including all questions in my course. I discovered that when I published my course and uploaded to an LMS, the Notes did appear on the slides drawn from the question bank in the published output. It just doesn't work in Storyline preview mode for some reason. Is there a way to get the notes to appear in preview mode? Is this a known bug, and if so, is there any expected timeframe for resolution? Thanks!

Hi, Ryan -- Thanks for reaching out with your question! Would it be possible for you to share your file so we can take a closer look, please?
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for reaching out here and that thread is a bit older, but I found another thread where another user mentioned it and it was as simple as ensuring that the individual question slides also had the notes enabled (in addition to the question bank draw slide). Please let us know if that helps and resolves the issue and if you need any other assistance, it may help to take a look at the .story file.

Hi Christie and Ashley,
Thank you for replying so quickly. Unfortunately, I can't easily share the file, because it contains confidential information. I was going to take a screen shot and post that, but as of this morning, I can no longer replicate the issue. Ashley, I saw that post too, but my situation was a little bit different. The Notes tab was present; it was just empty--and only in preview mode. The published output had the notes in the Notes tab. I tried closing out of Storyline and reopening yesterday, but that didn't help. When I saw the other post that I originally linked to, and when his solution was simply to avoid using a question bank, I assumed that this was a bug of some sort. As I said, though, it's working now. If I have the issue again I'll post a screen shot for you.

The issue occurred again today, and I was able to get a screen shot (see below).
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for the screenshot - can you send along a copy of the .story file as Christie mentioned previously? You can use the link she shared if you need to send it privately.

Hi Ashley,
Even to share the file privately, I would probably need an executed non-disclosure agreement. I will confirm with my manager and obtain the form if needed.
Certainly understand Ryan - if you share the file here our team can sign an NDA. Even if you could strip down to just one representative slide or recreate it in a new file, we could take a look at that to see how it's behaving.
Hi David!
Would you be able to share your .story sample file so that I can take a look? The zipped file you shared here did not upload for me.
Hi David!
I'm seeing the notes on the second slide. I even added numbers to make sure I was looking at the right thing...
Do you see the same issue in my published file?
Hi David!
I'm not seeing the behavior in preview either:
