Question slides change to fast

I have 6 question slides from a question bank. I have a submit button for when the user answers Based on their response they get  a right or wrong slide with custom text relating to the questions answer. When they click continue to move to the next question, I get a flash of another question slide. I have tried adding a pause and changing the timing on the timeline. Nothing works. I need to fix this as my project is over due.
