Quiz Feedback Master not working as expected
I followed the tutorial on Designing Quiz Questions in Slide View and can't get it to work.
I created a feedback master and applied it to the slide, but when the feedback displays it is on top of the slide - like a layer - and not the way it is described in this video.
Are there better tutorials for showing feedback next to the original question?
Thanks.

This is how Storyline works:
- Slide Master Layouts can be applied to the base of a slide. Objects on the base always appears below objects on a layer.
- Feedback Master Layouts can be applied to layers above the base. Objects on layers always appear above objects on the base.
- The Correct, Incorrect, Try Again, and Review features in graded-question slides put that info in the corresponding layer, which appears above the question on the base.
It's not clear to me what is going wrong for you, because "when the feedback displays it is on top of the slide - like a layer" is how it is supposed to work and is what is shown in the QuizMaker tutorial.
Since you're working in Storyline, I suggest you refer to these articles about using Slide and Feedback Masters:

Hi JudyNollet, thanks for the information. The tutorial I followed - Quizmaker 360 [https://access.articulate.com/support/article/Articulate-Quizmaker-360-Designing-Quiz-Questions-in-Slide-View] was updated this year, so I thought it was current. In the tutorial the quiz responses show up on the slide (quiz feedback image 1) but when I follow the steps in the tutorial I just get a layer that obscures the question (quiz feedback image 2).
Is that how it's suppose to work?
If so, why is the Quizmaker 360 tutorial still active?

From looking at your pictures, I'm wondering if you have an opaque white background on your feedback layer. Edit your feedback background to make it 100% transparent and see if that's closer to the behaviour you expected.

FionaC : Posting the picture of what's happening clarifies the issue.
As HoneyTurner said, it looks like the layer might have a solid background, which would cover the entire base. In such a case, the fix is to make the layer's background transparent.
It's also possible that the Slide Layer Properties are set to hide everything on the base.
For more details, here's a post about base visibility: Can't see the base from a layer? Or is it just dimmed? Is that what you want? Here's how to control base visibility... | Articulate - Community

Thank you, both!
I changed the transparency and it is much closer to the view I was expecting.
Thanks!
