Quiz Feedback Master not working as expected

I followed the tutorial on Designing Quiz Questions in Slide View  and can't get it to work.  I created a feedback master and applied it to the slide, but when the feedback displays it is on top of ...

This is how Storyline works:

  • Slide Master Layouts can be applied to the base of a slide. Objects on the base always appears below objects on a layer. 
  • Feedback Master Layouts can be applied to layers above the base. Objects on layers always appear above objects on the base.
  • The Correct, Incorrect, Try Again, and Review features in graded-question slides put that info in the corresponding layer, which appears above the question on the base. 

 

It's not clear to me what is going wrong for you, because "when the feedback displays it is on top of the slide - like a layer" is how it is supposed to work and is what is shown in the QuizMaker tutorial.
