Quiz result feedback

Hi!

I'm new to Rise, and my customer is asking for a final feedback in a quiz. That is "Congratulations, you passed the quiz! Now ..." or something like that in the end. I can't see if there is any possibility to add that, though?

Thank you!

I think you tagged the wrong person.  It's not me that has the issue.  I already have this sorted and I assume that I did it the way you describe.  :-)

In the quiz settings, you select "Require passing score to continue" - rather, set this to "On." It will lock the lesson following the quiz. I added final resources, a course survey, and a completion screen to this added lesson.

  • I agree there should be the option to show guidance/feedback at the end of the quiz depending on whether the learner passed or failed. Quizzes are often the last stage to a course and it would make sense to confirm completion to those who have passed etc. Surprised it's not been implemented yet.

I know, people have been asking for this for literally years now. I'm super peeved to see they haven't added it in. It's so basic to the instructional design process.

  • Feedback after a quiz or any assessment is basic instructional design best practices and commonly asked for from SMEs. Please add this feature. I have to build out an entire storyline project just to make a quiz with feedback at the end. That's a waste of time and money. I think your features design team could benefit from poking around a LMS or two like Moodle or Canvas.

Adding a comment to upvote the request.

My client wants the user to revisit the course content before re-attempting the quiz. If the "Retake" button cannot be conditionally switched off, at least allow us to edit the text on the feedback screen to say "You are encouraged to revisit the content before retaking...".
