Quiz Results show incorrect results
I created a course simulation (Storyline 360) with a View Mode and Quiz mode. Each scene represents a different module with a quiz at the end. When viewing the scenes individually the results slide is returns accurate results. When viewing the entire project the the results slide is incorrect. I have tried setting the quiz options as both Knowledge Check and Final Assessment. Neither is returning the correct result. Does anyone have any suggestions to correct the settings?
Note: I am unable to share the file as it contains images of my clients CRM.

Hi Tyra, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
I appreciate you taking the time to reach out and share what you are experiencing in your project file.
It sounds like you have multiple result slides and each function as expected in an individual scene, but they do not when looking at the overall project. It sounds like you may be pointing to the same questions for each result slide. Can you tell me more about this setup, how it's tracked, and the expected behavior?
I know you mentioned that you could not share here in the forums, but I'd be happy to work with you privately, and you can upload the .story file here. I'll delete it when troubleshooting is complete.

Hi Leslie,
I have very much the same problem with incurrect results being shown.
I am pretty sure that the result slide is tracking every draw from my project's question bank instead of tracking only the final assessment - drawn from the same question bank.
The project is not split into modules. But after a few slides I use to ask a few question to make sure people have learned the content. These questions are not meant to be part of the final assessment and therefor should not be tracked by the results slide in the end.
Am I allowed to ask for help or advice and ulpoad my content via the link you mentioned above?
Thanks a lot!
Regards,
Michael

Hi there. I am struggling with a results slide. It doesn't seem to be "reading" the correct or incorrect answers, and it does not show a score. Can you assist?

Hi, Lauren.
Thank you for sharing the .story file! What a fantastic idea!
Here are a few things I noticed in the setup:
- In Form View, you assigned all the items to the correct drop target:
Storyline recognizes those as matches. Instead, you should only assign the correct one:
- You didn't have a way to submit the interaction (through a Submit Interaction trigger), which is why the Results slide didn't capture the score.
- There are different ways you can do this, either by adding a submit button or creating triggers that submit every time an item is dropped:
- Your Results slide needs to be set to calculate based on questions, and those questions should be selected:
Let me know if this helps, or if you have additional questions.

I made the changes you suggested however it still isn't recognizing a passing score (although it is scoring now). Thank you so much for the help!

Hi, Lauren.
Thank you for the kind words about our support team!
The manual triggers you had previously created to show the Correct/Incorrect layers should be disabled or deleted since we are now using the Form View for feedback:
I'm attaching the .story file here with those corrections (I also adjusted the triggers on the second and third slides to match the ones in the first).
Let me know if this works!

I would never have thought to do that, thank you! My last question: I set up the questions to have 2 attempts from the user. If I answer incorrectly, it shows the standard feedback for the first attempt. The second attempt though shows the layer with the feedback that I created. Is there a way to have the feedback layer that I created show for the incorrect answer on both attempts?
- MariaCSStaff
Hi, Lauren.
When you have more than one attempt, you will automatically have three layers (Correct, Incorrect, and Try Again):
You can edit the Try again layer to look the way you want it to, or you can duplicate the Incorrect layer and rename it Try again. In this case, you want to also remove the trigger to Jump to the next slide when the user clicks continue (since you want them to re-try the same question).

I hope this helps!
