quiz timer is still allowing learners to complete the quiz

    Hi MarionWaning, 🎉

    I'm happy to inform you that we released a new update for Rise 360! This update fixes the issue where the quiz timer limit does not work if the quiz uses a question bank.

    There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.

Sorry to hear your Rise 360 Quiz Timer isn't working as expected, when uploaded to an LMS!

I'd be happy to help troubleshoot, and have some follow-up questions to get us started:

  • Are you using a Question Bank for this specific Quiz?
    • We are currently tracking a bug in Rise 360, causing Quiz Timers to not function if a Question Bank is being used.
  • Does the same behavior occur across all browsers, or is it specific to one?
  • Does this issue occur with multiple Rise courses, containing Quiz Timers, or just this one specifically?

Yes, we are using Question Banks in our courses. Then that will be the reason. The problem occurs in multiple browsers (I tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge) and in multiple courses.
